The Truth about Cell Phones and the Do Not Call Registry

The Federal Trade Commission today reiterated that despite the claims made in e-mails circulating on the Internet, consumers should not be concerned that their cell phone numbers will be released to telemarketers in the near future, and that it is not necessary to register cell phone numbers on the National Do Not Call (DNC) Registry to be protected from most telemarketing calls to cell phones.

Immigration Bills Increasing In Sacramento

Sacramento, CA — Immigration reform is definitely on the front burner these days … especially in California.

Sacramento legislators have now introduced 25 immigration bills. One Republican sponsored bill would deny state-funded health care, welfare and unemployment benefits to illegal immigrants while still another would require illegals to pay higher college tuition fees.

Senator Dennis Mountjoy of Monrovia has commented, “We don’t need more laws … we just need to enforce the laws we already have.”
